 When I received the book "Love Actually", I was glad because Love Actually is my favorite movie. I have watched this movie five times. Therefore, I enjoyed while I was reading this book. This book is much simpler than the movie, but contents were clear. My favorite character is Mark. He liked his best friend's wife, but he confessed his love romantically at Christmas day. I admire Mark for his courage. If I were Mark, I probably gave up. I recommend this book for other ESL students, because this book is very interesting in reading. Reading a book help students to improve reading skills.

* G a m e s *

  Have you ever played the Sims? My favorite game was the Sims when I was a child. Players can create virtual people called "Sims" and places them in houses. Also, the players can help direct moods of Sims. In addition, the players can build their houses and decorate interiors like designs of furniture. Simply put, the Sims is a strategic life simulation video game. I played the game for a long time because it is the slow-paced strategy game. Actually, I was the Sims addict. I got a vicarious thrill out of playing the game. These days, the Sims was expanded to a mobile game. Many people enjoy the Sims of mobile game.

 Are you going to come in Calgary? I will give you some helpful advice. First, you should study English conversation. I know you'll come here to learn English. However, if you study basic English and you can speak basic communication, you will be able to learn English quickly and easily. Second, you should bring some winter clothes such as a warm muffler, warm gloves, and a woolen hat. You know the Calgary's weather is getting cold as hell. These days, I bundle up in a think jacket when I go outside. You should take my advice to heart. I'm glad to see you soon :)

* T r a n s p o r t a t i o n *

I enjoy domestic travel every year.

When I travel in Korea, I use various ways to travel such as airplane, car, train, bus.

When I go to Jeju Island, I take a flight.

However, I sometimes ride a bus when I go to a suburb of Seoul.

In this way, transportation depends on the destination.

Especially, my favorite way to travel is a train because I can see a beautiful view from my seat while on the train. Second, passengers can move free. Third, it runs promptly and safely whether it rains or snows.

However, a train takes a long time because train's routes are not free.

 

* C r i m e *

 

   I think Calgary is a safe city. However, I think my hometown is safer than Calgary because Calgary's downtown has a lot of many homeless people. I'm a night owl, so I like to wander from street to street at night. One day, I went downtown with my friend at night. However, one homeless person came up to us and asked us for 10$. We said we don't have any cash. Suddenly, the homeless swore at us. We felt scared. My hometown's homeless generally avoid people, but Calgary's homeless don't avoid people and they sometimes ask some money or some foods. I think to protect myself from becoming a victim isn't to walk around at night. If you meet homeless, you had better avoid them.

 

* M o v i e *

     What do you think about your life? My favorite movie gives me a special message about our life. It called ‘Life is Beautiful’. This story is very sad. On the other hand, it includes on astonishing and real story. Guido, his son, and Guido’s wife live in a comfortable home. One day, they suddenly disappear. They are taken to a concentration camp by German Nazis. In order to save his son from the horror of the situation, Guido deceives his son. This situation is just a game. Also, after winning 1000 points, the prize is a tank. Although the Nazis kill the Jews cruelly, his son is safe and reunited with his wife. However, Guido is killed. In this movie, I felt his father’s strong love and I understood how painful war is. I highly recommend ‘Life is Beautiful’, for anyone who hasn’t seen it.

 

 

* M i l l i o n a i r e *

 If I was a millionaire, there would be many things to do but I would live my life that I really want to. Thus, I’d like to achieve my dream. First, I’m going back home in Korea, so I would plan to build a skyscraper for rent in Seoul. The building that was built would be leased, and I would deposit the rental cost in my bank account. Second, I would buy a great house for my family. Also, I would give some pocket money to them every month. Moreover I would pay my younger brother’s all university tuition. Third, I would go on a trip around the world with my boyfriend, especially trip to Europe. I would go from very famous places to the unknown but awesome places. When I travel a country, I’d like to experience various cultures of the country and to enlarge my experience. Finally, I would contribute my money to UNICEF regularly. Because many people are happy, I think I would be able to be happy.



* S p r i n g *

 

My favorite season is spring. There are several reasons, the first is warm weather. I don’t like cold weather and hot weather. Second, in spring, everything is fresh and vivid. The sun is bright in the sky and trees come into bud. Also, the fields and hills are clothed in fresh verdure. Therefore, there are so many things you can do outside with your friends. For example, you can go on a picnic with your lunch box. Finally, all kinds of flowers bloom in the spring. I enjoy going out flower-viewing, especially cherry blossom. I went to cherry blossom viewing every year. I can’t wait for spring to come. For all these reasons, I think spring is the best season of year.

* S e o u l *

   Do you know where Seoul is? Seoul is the capital city of South Korea, and the most populous city in our country. In my opinion, Seoul is the best place to live in our country. Seoul is the center of politics, economy, industrial, transportation, culture, and education for South Korea. Likewise, there are many places that will give you a variety of experiences. I think it's important for us to have a variety of experiences in our lives. First of all, there are a lot of things to see like Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Tower, Choenggyecheon and 63 Building. If you want to see a night view of Seoul, you should go to Namsan Tower. From Namsan, you can get the night view of Seoul at a glance. Second, Seoul has many good food restaurants. The food is pork hocks in this photo.

Ohhyang is located in City Hall station and the most famous pork hocks restaurant. Finally, there are many great places to shop like Insa-dong, Myungdong, Rodeo Streets and Hongdae. Insa-dong is a traditional place, so it is a famous tourist spot. I particularly enjoy going to Rodeo Streets. Rodeo Streets located in Apgujeong and lots of discount stores.

 

Also, there are many beautiful interiors of building. For all these reasons, I think Seoul is the best place to live in South Korea.
